Memorial Day Weekend

Hope everyone had a great long weekend!

The Husb and I went down to North Padre Island where my family lives to spend some time with them and relax!

Although I didn't stay awake for some of the activities, everyone had a good time going to a beach side concert and fishing!

The babes are doing better and are calming down on making me upset!

and.. how cute is the Husb - so relaxed. 

Shakes, Dressers, and Nurseries

I had such a fun day yesterday. I officially started looking for items for the nursery. With a couple of images of what I want the nursery to look like, and a couple of my own ideas, my mom and I set out to see what we could find in vintage consignment shops. 

First let me know show you what we are going for (Imagine just another crib)

I love the brightness and the funkiness of this nursery, but I also wanted kind of a vintage feel. So I decided I would take a vintage dresser - and also use it as my changing table...

After a few stores...

And a few misses... I think this dresser is amazing - or will be with some new nobs and new paint

It is from the fifties and the cabinet that my mom is holding open is actually a little closet for toddlers! 

I was very pleased that we found the dresser and celebrated by grabbing a strawberry and chocolate shake at Olmos Park Pharmacy!

Hi Everyone!

I have been pushed and shoved to finally get a blog, and I am so happy I have finally done so!

I cannot wait to start blogging about the husb and I's everyday life, and the journey we are going through expecting twins, and everything in between!

But, for now.... my momma is in town so I will catch ya later!
