This was one of the first, and last, weekends that the Husb and I are home alone with no visitors and are not out of town.
My list on the Honey-Do list was getting pretty looong - and add on top one of my pups (and favorite) was leaving.
Here is some background...
When the Husb and I met, I had a cockerspaniel named Reily. My mom had one for over 15 years named Christy and she was such a loving, loyal dog that when she passed away, I wanted to get one.
I was a junior in high school and Reily has been my pal through end of high school, college, moving to different cities, and the married life. However, we have always known Reily isn't great with babes and toddlers, specifically kids don't know boundaries and she doesn't like them in her face. As much as I love her, I know I am going to love my babes and I don't want to put them in harms way... So we found a GREAT family for her.
Saturday I was a wreck, I was so upset to see her go. But, it seems like someone had bigger plans because four hours into her new home, the family had an older member that couldn't take an inside dog, and even though they had discussed it, it was much different once she got there. So, Reily came back home :)
For now, I am enjoying having her home - knowing that in the back of my mind it is going to be short lived.
Other than the dramatics, the Husb and I had a great weekend.
We went and visited my good friends home and her chickens :) Then got to the Honey-Do list!
We added in a little more fun with some girl pool time - Obviously Miss Chanlie wasn't digging me ;)
