Post Shot Babe.

Well, we had our first reaction to a shot that the babes got. I know there is so much debate over vaccinations - what to get, to delay, to not vaccinate. We believe to vaccinate and sometimes you then have to deal with a reaction. The babes have been awesome and haven't really had any reactions, however after the 6 month shots, J's left leg became swollen, hot to the touch, lumpy, and very bruised. I called the Dr's thinking I would just need to keep an eye on it, but they wanted to see her {better safe than sorry} Luckily, there is no infection and no immediate concern.. she just had a reaction and she needs to get through it {with lots of love, massage, and warm compresses} 

Their next visit will be such an easy one with no shots, but I am starting to do research with their 1 year visit.. I have been told they each will have 5 shots which seems like a lot to me at once {they will still be vaccinated, just maybe thinking of spreading them over two weeks?}.. so any information or advice would be helpful!
