I Have Multiples.

Another multiple momma posted this and I had a good laugh. Everything is true except my house is a mess {if you know me, you know I am a freak and my house is always clean} but I loved every saying on this picture.

More importantly though, it got me thinking...

-I have always hated attention. I don't like hosting parties because I hate the pressure, I don't like going new places where there are a lot of people, and ever since I was little I always have to have someone with me. So of course I would give birth to twins who draw attention no matter where or what I do.

-A couple of those sayings, I use daily, and try to smile through it and continue. However, the other day I had to walk away from a Grandma wanting to talk, and I constantly act like I am busy while grocery shopping just so those people in my peripheral view do not talk to me.

-I don't want to sound like a bitter betty, but it is difficult when I run into friends or have conversations where the person wishes they had twins. I try not to be rude, but I always cringe. I feel like having a singleton is such a blessing because you get undivided attention with one babe!

-They covered twins last night on Rosie Pope's show "Pregnant in Heels". It is basically a show prepping parents to be for all sorts of circumstances... The parents to be were pregnant with fraternal twin girls, and Rosie had them practice with toddler twins. The hubs and I got a good laugh when the Husband on the show turns to his preggo twin wife and asks, "Will this be real life? Each of us holding a crying baby?"

- Singleton. I am sure I have offended someone by using this term. And what is even funnier, is when giving advice to my two closest friends who gave birth just a few short months after me, I refer to their babes as them, they.. plural... because I am just so used to it.

I always refer to everyone's kid as them or they're. funny how moms of twins just do that with everyone!
